“The Paleo diet is simple yet remarkably effective for fat loss and halting or preventing a number of degenerative diseases. To reap the benefits of the most effective nutritional strategy known, one need simply build meals from the following:

  • Lean proteins (ideally) grass fed meat, free range fowl and wild caught fish
  • Seasonal fruits and vegetables

With a very simple shift we not only remove the foods that are at odds with our health (grains, legumes, and dairy) but we also increase our intake of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. This paper also offers significant insight as to the amounts and ratios of protein, carbohydrate and fat in the ancestral diet.”

Even Simpler:

What to eat: Unlimited veggies and fruit, meat, oil, seeds and nuts.  Sweet potatoes are ok in quantity.

What not to eat: Grains, dairy, legumes (beans/ peanuts), sugar.  People with autoimmune disorders may also benefit from removing nightshades (tomatoes, potatoes) and peppers and maybe nuts.

These are all foods that are very inflammatory to our body, causing many autoimmune diseases including Multiple Sclerosis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus, Vitiligo, Type 1 diabetes, eczema, psoriasis, and many more.  Today’s high carbohydrate diet also causes type II diabetes, heart disease, high cholesterol, obesity, high blood pressure and many more chronic diseases.  A Paleo diet will undoubtedly reverse or control any and all of these conditions.
